Watercolour Free as a Bird Bundle Thank You Card | Stampin’ Up!

Hi and welcome to today’s Card Making tutorial at DoLally Crafts.
Today I’m featuring the Free as a Bird Bundle which is a lovely throwback to the sixties type of illustration – in my opinion.  It’s reminiscent of all the illustrations in children’s books I used to read in the late sixties and early seventies – a definite retro feel.

Incidentally, please excuse me calling it the Bird Ballad Bundle through the video – it was only as I was adding the bundle to the shopping list below that I realised I had been calling it by the wrong name all day. LOL

Everyone else seems to be using their Stampin’ Blends to colour in the images in the videos I have seen online – I wanted a more ethereal look to my card, so I used the Wink of Stella glitter brush with a variety of colours.  I also used the Shimmery White cardstock as it’s less inclined to ‘pill’ as you paint on it with either Wink of Stella, or proper artist or aqua brushes.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope I inspired you with my take on the Bird Ballad stamps.  I love the way this card turned out, and I hope you did too!

Please, if you need any supplies from Stampin’ Up! consider shopping with me!  You will help me bring more tutorials to YouTube when you purchase from my online store.

During the month of July, every purchase of $50 or more in my shop will be gifted either a Wink of Stella or a packet of Basic Rhinestone Jewels as a thank you for shopping with me.

Until Thursday,
Karen 🙂
