Floral Essence Friendship Card | Stampin’ Up!

Welcome to a new Card from me, I know it’s been a long time since the last one, but I hope you’re still here with me!

Today’s card is using one of the new DSP packs from the 2019 – 2020 catalogue called Perennial Essence.  To me, it’s reminiscent of the old Impressionist painters and looks to be photographs of oil paintings.  I love the colours, and I love the aesthetics of this paper which is why I chose it as my first purchase of DSP from the new catalogue.

I didn’t have my Butterfly Gala stamp set at home, having loaned it to my mum, before using the double butterfly punch, I stamped onto the Petal Pink mat with Blackberry Bliss before using the punch, which gave a different look to the butterfly image.

I LOVE the new Petal Pink Organdy Striped ribbon and think it looks amazing popping off this card against the darker colours of the DSP.

Okay, here are the details:

Join me again on Thursday for another tutorial – the promised Paper Pumpkin Alternative’s video.  I know it’s no longer available, but if you have any of the set left and are trying to think of something different to make – this video is for you!  I’ll also give measurements to the various products used, so you can make the projects with materials you may already have available in your stash!

Until Thursday!
Karen 🙂
