Flips & Folds #20 feat. Delightful Daisy & Springtime Impressions – Stampin’ Up!

Welcome to Flips & Folds NUMBER 20!!!

I can’t believe I’ve made it this far. LOL

This is a lovely card and despite the fiddling around to get the cuts right, it’s an easy one to make. I’ve even provided some diagrams below to make it from both 12 x 12 paper and A4 paper sizes. (How nice am I? LOL)

I even added some Grapefruit Grove despite it nt being one of the DSP colours, I think it blends nicely.  And I added some Wink of Stella to give it some added bling!

Diagram 2 (A4 size cut 2)

On the 8″ length score at 4 and 6″.

On the 5 1/2″ length put a small score mark at 2 3/4″.

Cut from the 6″ fold down to the 2 3/4″ mark on a diagonal line

Then cut from the bottom of the 6″ fold up to the 2 3/4″ mark on a diagonal line.

Glue the two 4 inch sides together with the pointed edges facing outwards to make the full gatefold.

Diagram 3 (DSP Front Folds)

This piece is cut at 3 1/2″ x 5″

On the reverse of the pattern you want to use:

Mark at 1 3/4″  (halfway mark) with a pen or pencil.

Turn paper 90 degrees and mark at 2 1/2″ length.

Cut from the centre mark on the 5″ length to the centre mark on the 3 1/2 length. Repeat on opposite side.

Turn paper 180 degrees and repeat both cuts.

These pieces will fit on the two pointed folds on your card.
