My entry on the Just Add Ink Challenge #295

This isn’t a usual Friday night for me.  Miss 11 is at her friends place for the night, and hubby is watching a soccer match on TV, so I’m down in the craft room playing around with paper, ink and stamps.  Oh! And watching Supernatural on Netflix! I wouldn’t mind Netflix and Chilllin’ with either of those Winchester boys… but that’s another post. LOL

I’ve been watching a few other challenge blogs the last few weeks, apart from the normal blog hops with Crazy Crafters I wanted more challenge and inspiration, so tonight I decided to just jump in!

Just Add Ink’s latest challenge is this one:

JAI Sketch_2-019

I wanted something clean and simple, and I think I nailed it with this one. Here’s my take:

Using the small punches from the Itty Bitty Accents and then the Balloon punch from the Party Punch Pack.

The Happy Birthday is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set, and then punched out with the Word Window punch which I then trimmed at both ends to square it up.

It was all mounted onto a mat that was embossed with the delicate dots folder.

I hope you like this entry.  If so, please leave a comment below.

  1. So glad you chose our challenge to play along with, Karen. Such a fun birthday card; the little punched shapes are gorgeous. The sentiment is the perfect size, too. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink!

  2. Karen that little collection of bitty punched shapes is very sweet and looks great!. I really like that you brought colour into it using DSP. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.

  3. This is so cute!!! I love those tiny images, such a cool design and they go so perfectly with that tiny dot embossing in the background. And so perfect for the sketch too! So very glad you joined us at Just Add Ink this week!!!
