Crisp Cantaloupe Floral For You Card

Crisp-Floral-For-You-DoLallyCraftsAnother bright and fun card to make and give.

I love the fresh ‘happy’ vibe that comes from this card.  It uses a number of punches and one more The Best Year Ever DSP from 2015 Occasions & Sale-a-bration.

The A Round Array stamp set is no longer available on the Stampin’ Up! website, but you can still source it through second hand facebook groups as well as on eBay.  I think it’s a great little set, and I use it often in card and gift making.

Love, love love the colour of this card!!

Very simple to make, it’s a Sara-Lee card – layer, upon layer, upon layer… LOL

Whisper White card 3.3/4″ x 5.1/4″
Best Year Ever paper 3.1/2″ x 5″
Whisper White card 2.1/2″ x 2.1/2″ covered in the large spatter stamp from Gorgeous Grunge.
Fun Flower punch from the DSP
Flower Shop fine line stamp, stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe and then punched with the Pansy Punch
Tiny Dots flower from the Petite Petals stamp set in Crisp Cantaloupe and then punched with the Petite Petals punch.
Mount all the flowers, one on top of the other with snail or glue dots, after curling the petals with a bone folder.
Top the flower with a medium basic pearl then glue the flower to the middle of the stamped whisper white square with a few glue dots, or Tombow Mono Multi glue.
Punch out a mosaic from Whisper White using the Mosaic Punch (or a small circle if you don’t have the mosaic punch).
I then stamped the For You stamp from A Round Array, and punched with the 7/8″ scalloped circle punch and mounted this on the mosaic punch.
I poked holes into the corner of the square, and also the top of the mosaic, and threaded some cotton thread through both holes, sticking the thread to the back of the shapes with the dimensionals.
I fixed the square to the card first, and then removed the backing from the dimensional of the mosaic ‘dangly’ and affixed that.
I added a basic pearl to the bottom of the mosaic, and viola! Finished!

Hope you like this card as much as I do.

All materials used can be purchased below, in my online store.

Karen 🙂
