Hello Honey Butterfly Basics Birthday Card

Hello-Honey-Butterfly-Basics-DoLallyCrafts Ok, this was my second try at this card, tho I am happier with this version, I still feel it needs ‘tweaking’, tho I’m not sure how, so any suggestions would be gratefully accepted. LOL

Once again, the Butterfly Basics Stampin’ Up! was used and the hexagon punch.  I shadow stamped the image in smoky slate 2nd generation, first, and then stamped it a second time on a scrap of whisper white with memento black.

I water coloured the smoky slate impression with very watered down ink from the So Saffron pad and the Mint Macaron.

I then used the markers to colour the memento black image, and punched out a couple of pieces of that image to use over the top of the water coloured image.

I sprinkled basic pearls over the image and tied a short length of Natural Trim around the panel and tied a small knot of Natural Trim to that.  The panel was mounted on some Hello Honey allowing a small border.

I used the modern label punch to punch out a small Hello Honey background panel and after stamping the greeting in Lost Lagoon, I punched that out with the Word Window punch.

Hope you liked this version as much as I did. I prefer it to the blue one of a few days ago.

Materials can be purchased through my Online Store – below.
