Hi and welcome to another card making tutorial from Do Lally Crafts. This is the promised Alternate Paper Pumpkin video, though it is only two projects and not the promised four I intended on uploading. Long story – boring…. forget it. LOL
Ok, the measurements are all fairly easy for the first project. We have the original muted/distressed card, with a layer from the inside of an envelope and another scrap piece of Very Vanilla that are cut using the rectangle dies. If you don’t have dies I have provided the sizes below.
Another piece of Very Vanilla is used to stamp the feathers onto, and then they are fussy cut and adhered to one of the foiled precut labels.
The two rectangle die sizes are:
This one didn’t quite work out as I intended. It would have been better if the gift enclosed were a little shorter, but the box still looks okay – to me, anyway…
One card base was used to make this project.
Cut the card in half along the fold, then trim the plain piece to 4 15/16 x 3 7/16″.
The patterned piece should also be 5 x 3 1/2″
Scoring on both pieces is the same:
On the portrait angle: 1 7/8″ rotate 180° and score again at 1 7/8″
On the landscape angle: 1 3/4″ rotate 180° and score again at 1 3/4″

I hope you’ve enjoyed both of these projects and will join me for more next week, including a special Birthday card for a family member.
Don’t forget I have a Plan with Me video again this coming Sunday as I continue to get my life in order. 🙂
