Now that Stampin’ Up! have gotten into these types of diecuts in a big way, I’m having a ball making different cards with them and seeing what I can come up with.
This one is using the scribbled heart diecut, I made four cuts out of white cardstock and glued the layers together, and then cut the last out of red cardstock and layered it on top of the white cardstock to make a dimensional embellishment without using dimensionals. 🙂
I then stamped around the outside of the heart with the mini hearts from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set, in Pink Pirouette to fill most of the background. Then, inking just one of the small hearts with Real Red, I stamped the scattering of red hearts around the outside as well.
Topping off the finished card with a small stamped banner using Crazy About You stamp set, and three rhinestones just to give a pop of bling.
Whisper White Base: 4 1/8 x 11 1/2″ scored at 5 3/4″ or 10.5 x 29cm scored at 14.5cm
Whisper White Layer: 3 7/8 x 5 1/2″ or 9.5 x 13.5cm
Whisper White Scrap: 3 x 8″ cut four hearts or 7.5 x 20.5cm
Real Red Scrap: 3 x 3″ or 7.5 x 7.5 cm
I love this card and hope you do as well.
