Welcome to another edition of the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop – this week we’re CASE-ing Dawn Griffith.
If you haven’t watched Dawn on YouTube – GO DO IT NOW after you’ve viewed all of this Blog Hop!! LOL
I LOVE Dawn’s cards – and she makes them all look soooo easy! Well, card making is easy – when you have the right tools, but she makes it look like *genie blink* DONE! And you know she’s having fun sharing her talents, just by listening to the smile in her voice.
Ok, you know me, I gush like a fangirl! So let’s get on with the show… here’s the project I am CASEing today.
With Dawn’s, as you can see from the link above, the card opens vertically with the Gift Card held in place on the flap – but with mine, I altered it so the pocket is behind the front panel, with the centre balloon being the Gift Card pulley.
And here’s my take on Dawn’s fun creation…
I also made one where the gift card pops out from the side of the front panel, but I think I prefer the top balloon being the pulley.
I love the papers from the Birthday Bouquet DSP pack, whether it’s used for Birthdays or just a special presentation for a friend, it’s ideal for cards, presents, or gift wrapping. I love the soft colours in the pack, I just hope we see this paper again, someday!
I hope you enjoyed my contribution to this week’s Blog Hop! Please follow the links below to view the Crazy Crafters you haven’t visited yet!! And ENJOY!
