Crazy Crafters CASE Allison Okamitsu – Blog Hop

Welcome to the March Blog Hop of the Crazy Crafters!  This Blog Hop we’re CASE-ing Allison Okamitsu!!

I couldn’t decide between two of Allison’s creations, tho technically one of them was a Workshop she did.

Here are the CASE subjects:

I loved the design that was used on both – very similar with the circles and the banner – which was mimicked by the washi tape in the class she was doing. And I always need thank you cards, so here’s my take on Allison’s design.

I did like the blank space in Allison’s small cards, but the white space bothered me for some reason, not quite sure why, because I normally like the “clean and simple” card layouts; but regardless, I had a ‘need’ to fill in the area, so dragged out my new ‘old’ favourite, Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set, and place a spray of love hearts in the corner.  The scalloped circle was looking too ‘blank’ as well, so out came the small Itty Bitty Accents flower, too.

I do like the way the set came out, now I just have to work on a presentation box to put them in, if they are here long enough! LOL

I hope you enjoyed my contribution to the Blog Hop, please follow the links below to see contributions from the other members of our Crazy Crafters group.

  1. I had to comment on your cards. They are so pretty. I would really like to know what products you use which I see is on your page, but I would also like the measurements of your cards and your flowers. It’s really pretty, I just couldn’t take my eyes off your age. I do want to say Thank you for sharing with us. May God Bless!

    1. The card bases are 4″ x 8″ scored at 4″ and folded in half. The flowers are small ones from the Itty Bitty Accents punch set.

Thank you so much for your comment and questions.

      Karen 🙂

  2. I LOVE this cute little set Karen! They scream happiness and friendship. And I think you were right about the hearts and flowers – they add so much to the sentiment. xoxo
